Dave Love and his crew have been taking care of me, my family and several group gatherings for the past few years and he will forever be our first choice!! We don't lift a finger, open a door or want for anything when we are out with him or his teams. The vans are cold, clean and stocked with waters and Topo Chico's and because Hill Country Wine Tours has such an incredible reputation around the Hill Country, we are treated like VIPs everywhere we go. We always have an absolute blast and cannot recommend his services enough. Thank you for all of your kindness, willingness to go ABOVE AND BEYOND for us and getting us all home safe. What a great experience! We stayed at the Casitas and Dave picked us up at our door. We had a full day or wine pairings and a whiskey tasting and they were all fabulous.

My friends and I had great time staying at Hacienda Amor! Dave and Ruth were thr greatest hosts. The casitas on the property were perfect for me and my friends. The view was beautiful. When we werent out enjoying local wines we relaxed on the patio and by the fire pit. I highly recommend their Air BnB in addition to the wine tours. We will definitely be coming back!

The tour was fantastic. The food at Carter Creek was amazing especially the Berry Salad & the staff were so hospitable. The grounds are beautiful. Loved the ambiance at the Castle even the dungeon 😂. The outdoor area was very inviting and comfortable, again the staff was awesome.
Didn’t care for the Blue Lotus too much. It was small, very crowded, one bathroom and didn’t feel much like a winery. Only the owner & maybe her husband were working with a tour bus and our group. Now, about Lindsey. She was an amazing driver, tour guide and a super fun host. She sang, danced and laughed with us the entire time.

Mark gave us a great day through Hill Country Wine Tours. It was nice to have private transportation to exactly the spots we wanted to go. Would highly recommend!

We celebrated my friend’s bachelorette party with a winery tour through Hill Country Wine Tours. Everything was great from start to finish. The booking was super easy and communication was great. Dave worked with us to determine what we were celebrating, where to go, the food choices for the picnic lunch, etc. Then Scott, our driver, reached out before to introduce himself and confirm number. He arrived early and was super friendly. He took great pictures that he shared with us throughout the day, carried our bags of wine people purchased, played our tunes and turned it up/down upon request, and got us everywhere safe, sound and on schedule. AMAZING! Dave is wonderful and makes you feel really important and cared for. He will make sure your wine tour day is amazing and full of surprises! I would love to go with Dave and Co. again for sure! We had so much fun and went to 2 wineries (one included a treehouse where snacks and a wine flight awaited us). The wineries were Sandy Road and Carter Creek. We topped the fun day off with a visit to Salvation Spirits and amazing cocktails. It was a dark and moody speakeasy vibe and we got to choose a cocktail. I had the Just Peachy and it may have been my favorite drink I’ve ever had. No joke! DANGEROUS! The whole day was magical and fun from start to finish. Thank you again Dave for you and your hosts! We had a wonderful time!

We had a group of 7 ladies who decided to recreate a trip we took with a friend who recently passed away. We expected tears but thankfully we had too much fun to have them. Mark was our driver and he went far and beyond what was needed. He was such a sweetheart and was so good to help us have a wonderful time. We were ahead of schedule so he called a chocolate maker to see if they'd let us drop in for a tasting. And they did. Mark even drove us to grab a pizza on the way home and to HEB. He did far more than what was expected of him. Everywhere we went everyone was so kind (the difference between TX and CA wine countries 😉 ). All asked why we had on what we had on and why we had a photo of someone. Everyone was so sweet about it all. And we are NOT a quiet bunch. Every stop honored her memory beautiful. And we absolutely LOVED the speak easy. So glad it was added on to our day. Everything was perfect. Thank you Dave and Mark for making it all happen. We will most definitely ask you guys to do it for us again. No doubt about that.

Highly recommend this company for transportation to vineyards. They picked us up from home and took us to multiple wineries in the area. They also took care of the prepayment of tastings so we could just arrive and enjoy.

We truly appreciate this because memories are important. Scott even had a charger for our phones incase we for ours, which I did. Most importantly we got to connect to the bluetooth so we could play our playlist and set the vibe🎶 We did choose the tour with lunch and it was excellent! The atmosphere, the service, and the food were top notch. I know I will choose to go through Hill Country Wine Tours again for a future girls trip.

A few weeks ago, I was able to gather 24 friends to have a little hill country escape. Dave took his time to speak to me months in advance. He wanted to get a good idea of what we envisioned. He & Ruth brought it to life. EVERYONE had a wonderful time and it is an experience I will never forget. We were not celebrating anything in particular...just time and each other. Their attention to detail is unsurpassed. We were staying at Carter Creek Resort and were conveniently picked up at the front of resort. We all went to Hye for our 1st stop...we had lunch there & our first tasting. We then broke up into 2 groups. Fellas went to Garrison & the ladies went to Sandy Rd. Ruth always made sure we had everything together and nothing forgotten. My only regret is that we didn't take a full group pic. Maybe it was due to all the fun we were having! Definitely recommend. This was an incredible experience! Dave, Scott and Kristen were wonderful drivers and were very accommodating. The lunch they had set up for us at Carter Creek was incredible - the burgers and chicken were grilled right in front of us! This was a unique tour in that our group got to pick between William Chris Vineyards and Garrison Brothers for their second stop. It was nice to have options that appealed to all my guests. I went on the Garrison Brothers tour myself, and it was excellent. I learned a lot, and we even got to meet Dan Garrison himself! This was a great option for a corporate event, and we will definitely use Hill Country Wine Tours in the future.

This wine tour experience was one of the best, if not the best, I have ever been on. Dave was extremely thoughtful in planning and had everything organized all the way throughout. Hill Country Wine Tours (Dave) was absolutely, hands down, the best tour company I could ask for! From start to finish, we received white glove service. Dave really listened to what we wanted to do, and really delivered. We mixed it up with doing 2 wineries, a stop at Garrison Bros distillery and he threw in a chocolate tasting, too! We also met the owner as well. Carter Creek Winery Resort and Spa was the best out of all of them however, 290 Castle and the Rhinory were also excellent! We had an exceptionally fabulous time on our wine tour. Keri was super attentive to our needs, with plenty of water onboard (topo + regular 😉 ) and ready to connect our phone so we could listen to whatever we wanted, in order to get the party started! Dave took us on a private wine tour in Johnson City and we had an amazing time! He tailored the wine tour to our specific requests and went above and beyond to make sure it was a special experience. We had a group of 14 and went to 3 wineries. Every winery was prepared for us when we arrived and we felt like we were getting VIP service. Dave even corralled our group together to make sure we had pictures at each winery (which is a difficult task after a few glasses of wine). He also made an extra stop at the end of our tour so we could pick up some of the best pizza in the hill country. I hope I get to do another wine tour with Dave in the future!

Ruth took us on a fabulous day of visiting 3 wineries. The day couldn’t have been better! She picked us up on time, had tastings reserved so when we arrived we got to walk right in and start our tastings. We had tastings in a tree house, had a lunch paired with wine, and finished the beautiful day with a tasting at a third gorgeous property. And she took photos the entire time for us. She brought us home right in time for us to relax in the hot tub before dinner. Would recommend x100! Thank you so much for such a great day!
